Beautiful old, gilded silver Uzbek earrings made circa 1960. These anchor-shaped earrings have a very old look and feel. They display gilded filigree with deep red, sky blue and navy enamelling and are adorned with a central black agate stone. Two further motifs are adorned with turquoise beads and the jingly dangles have coral beads and gilded leaf motifs. Some of the gilding has worn off a few of the leaves, authenticating their age. The ear hooks are 0.5 mm in width. A very attractive pair of wearable earrings.
