Vintage Turkmen Silver, Gold & Carnelian Gonzuk Pendant, Turkoman Jewelry - RARE
This striking item is a large original Turkmen pectoral/breastplate ornament handcrafted by the Tekke (Teke) tribespeople in the first half of the 20th century. It is made using high-grade silver (tested) with fire-gilding which gives the beautiful patterns. It has long chain dangles with bells which make a lovely jingling sound with movement. In total there are 10 bezel set carnelian stones adorning this beautiful piece.
In excellent condition for its age with wonderful vintage patina. Rare and collectible.
