Antique Moroccan Silver Enamelled Pendant - B
A stunning antique pendant likely to be from the Taliouine/Ighil n’Oghou region of Morocco, made by Jewish silversmiths in the 1920s. Enamelled in the traditional light blue and ochre colours of the region and adorned with a dark red glass cabochon, this pendant is edged with attractive fine silver wire work which contains further enamelling. It will once have been an element of a fibula or headband. You could wear it as an attractive pendant with a chain or use it as a component in your next jewellery project. A rare and unusual find, still in good condition for its age.
