Highly decorative large Tuareg 'Bella' pendant, made in Niger in the 1980s. This wonderful vintage silver pendant is finely etched with traditional geometric tribal motifs. It would have been worn by the Bella women as an amulet with perceived protective qualities. Very hard to find such an ornate Bella pendant now. In good vintage condition with wear and patina. The last photo is of similar pendants in the MAP Museum, Marrakech.
