Old Silver Tuareg Cross of Agadez (Iférouane), Niger
A silver Tuareg Cross of Agadez (Iférouane) pendant from Niger, made in the 1980s. It features fine tribal etchings on silver. This amulet is reversible, with similar motifs on both sides. A cross such as this was passed from father to son at the age of puberty as a protective pendant on his future travels. A very wearable symbolic pendant in good vintage condition. The cross will be accompanied by a simple leather cord, ready for wearing immediately if desired.
