Pair of Rare Antique Moroccan Tribal Pendants
A rare and stunning pair of antique fibula elements from the Ait Ouaouzguite tribal region of Morocco. These decorative, traditionally enamelled pendants are chunky, each pendant comprising two silver plates connected with ornate wirework. The decoration on each side is subtly different and both sides are adorned with a different colour glass cabochon, one red and the other green. The red cabochons both display a carved design of the moon and stars. Please note, one of the pendants is missing one of its four extensions which unsurprisingly has broken off during its long lifetime. Amazing collectors’ pieces, very rare.
