An authentic old silver Tuareg ornament made by the Bella tribe of Niger/Mali and worn in women’s hair as a decorative piece. This is particularly decorative with a finely etched tribal design, copper and brass central point and a large loop to which cord could be attached for tying into the hair. The reverse also has an etched design. Beautiful collectible item, made in the 1940s.
