These antique beads from Mauritania, over 100 years old, are very finely decorated tribal trade beads that were originally worn in a woman’s hair as decoration. Each of the 7 beads are silver with hollow interiors and detailed silver design. They are very highly sought after and often used in making necklaces. The beads vary in size (see details below) and are in very good condition for their age.
