Huge Antique Turkmen Asyk Pendant, Tekke Jewellery, Turkoman Jewelry
Absolutely stunning large antique asyk made from high-grade silver (tested) and fire gilded by Teke tribespeople. Early 20th century. The patterning is very elaborate and the wire work beautifully done. It is adorned with 6 bezel set carnelian stones.
A fabulous highly collectible piece of tribal adornment of museum quality. The last photo is of a similar asyk pendant in the MAP Museum, Marrakech.
